I have finally decided to switch to mirrorless. It was a tough decision between the D780 DSLR and the Z6ii. Ultimately the quality of the newer S series Nikkor lenses and the ability to use my legacy lenses via the FTZ adapter was the determining factor as the sensors are equal between the two camera bodies. I have added the Nikkor S 24-70 F4 zoom, S 50mm F1.8, S 105mm F2.8 macro and the 24-200 f4/6.3 universal travel zoom lens. Looking forward to the 200-600 mm zoom S series lens hopefully to be released soon!. I likely will also add a few native primes such as the 20mm F1.8 and 85 F1.8 at a later date. Possibly interested in the 14-30mm f4 wide angle zoom due to its small physical dimensions and light weight. I am extremely happy with all purchases thus far!
